the run game with in the spread offense football coaching video and coaching training aidDVD
with John Reagan,
University of Kansas Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator

This DVD looks at the fundamentals for running from the Spread Offense that Coach Reagan uses to prepare the Jayhawks for Big 12 football. Philosophically, the Spread Offense seeks to force the defense to defend the entire field. By opening the field, the offense can create one-on-one match ups, therefore utilizing your best personnel. Run schemes presented are the Zone Scheme (Inside/Outside) and Man Scheme (Isolation). Also, the Gap Scheme (Power/Counter), the Trap/Fold Scheme and the QB Run Game are highlighted. Reagan diagrams plays from different schemes as he entertains and answers questions. The Inside Zone Scheme/Fold Concept is clearly presented with use of actual game footage. An X Scheme play is also shown against a 5-man box. The popularity of the Spread Offense has gained the attention of coaches in every corner of the country. Coach Reagan does an excellent job of explaining how the run game threat is an important component of the Spread Offense.
